Coldspring Paddling Instruction will be offering pool-based kayak lessons over the winter in Saskatoon. We'll be running three 4-hour Introductory Kayak Clinics over two evenings. For those that have already taken the Introduction to Kayaking course or equivalent, we'll be running Rescue Clinics to practice our assisted- and self-rescue kayaking techniques.
CPI owner and kayak instructor, Bryan Sarauer, was recently asked to take on the role of Regional Director for Saskatchewan on the Paddle Canada Board of Directors after it was vacated early. Bryan is excited to take on this leadership role in the provincial and national paddling community. Although it will certainly mean a fair bit of extra work, he looks forward to meeting paddlers from across the province and across the country, to learning what issues face paddlers, and to working together with organizations such as Canoe Kayak Saskatchewan to the benefit of all paddlers. If you have concerns you would like Bryan to bring to the table or would like to find out how Paddle Canada can help you, please contact Bryan.
Well it's about time, but after resolving some technical issues, I finally got some new photos added to the gallery! Check them out on the gallery page. I have more photos to add so over the coming weeks the number of photos you can find there should go up again so check back once in a while. Thanks to Rob Kunz (Eclipse Photography) and Rick Orr for many of the photos (ie the ones that are well-composed).
